He says he wants a revolution: man-of-the-moment Russell Brand hot-foots it from Anonymous Million march to Drone Wars screening

For the London Evening Standard.

Russell Brand and Jemima Khan were out together at a screening of the documentary Unmanned: America's Drone Wars last night, along with Mick Jagger, Bianca Jagger,David Baddiel and Kathy Lette.

Brand has stirred up controversy in the past week in the New Statesman and the Guardian and on Newsnight by urging people not to vote on the basis that democracy just brings you more of the same as there is essentially no difference between the political parties.

In Unmanned: America’s Drone Wars, the eighth full-length feature documentary from Brave New Foundation, director Robert Greenwald investigates the impact of US drone strikes at home and abroad through more than 70 interviews, including one with a former American drone operator, bereaved Pakistani families seeking legal redress, investigative journalists and even top military officials worried about blowback.
