Documentary on Pakistani citizens’ experiences in attacks

A new documentary film released Wednesday tells the stories of Pakistani citizens allegedly injured and killed by the United States’ drone program. It’s called "Unmanned: America’s Drone Wars." CCTV’s Jessica Stone sat down with a man who lost his mother in a drone attack, and the film-maker who told his story.

Five representatives show to hear family of survivors talk about drone strike

On Tuesday, five lawmakers showed up to hear a 9-year-old survivor's story of living through a drone strike that killed her grandmother, the town's midwife, in Pakistan according to the Washington Post. Nabila ur Rehman, her brother 13-year-old Zubair and their father, Rafiq ur Rehman appeared before the lawmakers to convince them of the toll drone strikes have taken.

A translator was moved to tears on Capitol Hill as a Pakistani teenager told of how his grandmother was killed in a U.S. drone strike. Thirteen-year-old Zubair ur Rehman, along with his father Rafiq and his nine-year-old sister Nabila described how his 67-year-old Momina Bibi was picking okra when a drone fired several missiles at unknown targets near his compound.
